Radiation Data

Contains the state of the radiation data for every simulation output.

The radiation data files are produced each main output interval (default: 60 min) and represent the general state of the radiation at the given model time.

Variable list

This list represents the general variable structure. The actual sequence of the variables might differ but the same information is stored in total.

Variable Unit Description
Objects - Single object IDs to visualize the model domain. Meaning of the different IDs is stored in LEONARDO Special Layer Definition Files
Q_sw Direct W/m² Direct shortwave radiation
Q_sw Direct Relative - Local direct shortwave radiation relative to the total shortwave radiation
Q_sw Diffuse W/m² Diffuse shortwave radiation
Q_sw Reflected Upper Hemisphere W/m² Reflected horizontal radiation of the upper hemisphere
Q_lw Upper Hemisphere W/m² Longwave radiation of the upper hemisphere
Q_sw Reflected Lower Hemisphere W/m² Reflected horizontal radiation of the lower hemisphere
Q_lw Lower Hemisphere W/m² Longwave radiation of the lower hemisphere, e.g. buildings
ViewFactor Up Sky - Amount of sky that can be seen in an upward direction
ViewFactor Up Buildings - Amount of buildings that can be seen in an upward direction
ViewFactor Up Vegetation - Amount of vegetation that can be seen in an upward direction
ViewFactor Up Soil - Amount of soil that can be seen in an upward direction
ViewFactor Down Sky - Amount of sky that can be seen in an downward direction
ViewFactor Down Buildings - Amount of buildings that can be seen in an downward direction
ViewFactor Down Vegetation - Amount of vegetation that can be seen in an downward direction
ViewFactor Down Soil - Amount of soil that can be seen in an downward direction
